Concord Cottage, This Old House
Concord, MA

The owner of this property wanted to turn an existing barn adjacent to her home into a live-in cottage for her parents. As a This Old House project, SiteCreative developed a site plan that defined circulation and separate garden rooms for each dwelling. A parking court was nestled between the houses with a new perimeter trellis and fence, providing separation from garden areas along with support for an existing mature grape vine. Separate garden rooms provide private areas that connect gracefully to the open common lawn area and views beyond.
