South End Courtyard

This small 15 x 15 foot courtyard in the back of a South End brownstone was transformed into a bright contemporary space. The client wanted unexpected materials, minimal planting, and to integrate the color blue into the scheme. SiteCreative moved an existing stair and retaining wall to maximize space, designed frosted glass murals, knit the same glass into dark grey pavers, and added black river stone accents for textural contrast and drainage. A custom teak built-in bench completes the space.
