DeCordova Museum & Sculpture Park Master Plan

DeCordova Museum and Sculpture Park displays contemporary sculpture over 35 acres of open space. As project manager and lead designer at Halvorson Design Partnership, Stephanie guided the overall site master plan and implementation of the first-phase entrance road realignment. The entry is especially important, as it determines visitors’ first impressions and sets expectations. The goal here is to provide an entry experience that gives visitors glimpses into the varying garden ‘rooms’ displaying contemporary sculpture and that invites them to explore these areas on foot. Site improvements also included wetland area protection and replication.
