SiteCreative provided the master plan for this existing house and property that included the location of a new guest house. This new structure was placed in close proximity to the main house, creating a clustered cottage feel while maintaining open space for designed gardens and wild meadows. The size of the structure was minimized by being tucked into a hill, keeping it in appropriate scale with the main house. Separate garden rooms were designed for each dwelling, connected with an open lawn area. The wild meadow beyond is separated from the manicured garden by a rustic stone wall. A birch tree grove between the houses creates a gateway to the private garden areas. Landscape contractor: Nantucket Landscapes
