Roof Deck Garden

The design for this small roof deck garden includes an outdoor kitchen, dining nook with built-in and moveable seating, and an intimate seating area with a fireplace focal point. The edges of the space are defined with a combination of planters, built-ins, and horizontal rails that provide privacy and visual interest, while meeting building code requirements. The custom designed fireplace will have a polished concrete hearth, black slate interior and vertical tile veneer. Drainage is concealed below wood and stone surfacing allowing the simple beauty of the materials to be unobstructed. Construction to be completed in fall 2008.
